The law firm has been
set up in 1939 by the beloved Michele Giorgianni, ‘emeritus’ Professor
of civil law at Rome University “La Sapienza” and
national member of the Academy of “Lincei”,
and has been increased from 1969 by his son Francesco
Giorgianni, full Professor of Commercial Law and of Italian & European
Banking Law at the same University “La Sapienza”.
The firm in the years received prestigious undertakings
from the law courts of Italy in assisting many clients,
from among them some of the most important companies,
both public and private (Ferrovie dello Stato S.p.A.,
Autostrade S.p.A., Garboli S.p.A., Sviluppo Italia S.p.A.,
Gruppo Eni, Gruppo Fintecna, Impresa Pizzarotti & C.
S.p.A. and Farmindustria). In 2003, the law firm, formalizing
a tight and long lasting collaboration, joined with
Danovi’s firm of Milan in the “Danovi & Giorgianni” associated
firms and is members of two international Associations
of law firms (Globalaw – The International Law
Group, that brags more than 70 associated in 60 countries
and Euroavocat – Groupement européen d’interêt économique,
which complies lawyers in 15 european town).
